Gebze Kent Meydani

Gebze Town Square Station is the focal point of Gebze, and it is one of the stations with the highest anticipated number of trips on the line. The station is located in the old town square to the south of the new square in order not to interfere with the newly built and well-functioning Gebze Town Square and the Çoban Mustafa Pasha Mosque, which has historical value. In this way, it was possible to revive the old square in its immediate vicinity and to completely reorganize the area. It is being built with the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM). There are 2 entrance/exit structures to the Town Square and the Jewellers' Bazaar. The depth of the station is 50 m and the Construction Area is 7,307 m².
