The aim is to improve the transportation network by creating an alternative option for the highway connection between Gebze Organized Industrial Zone and Gebze-Darıca districts.
The said metro line will be integrated to Gebze Terminal Station. Integration with the courthouse station is considered at a later stage.

With the completion of the Metro Line, the economic savings between 2022-2047 will be;

Highway Maintenance and Operation Saving = 356.12 Million €
Accident Saving = 7.49 Million €
Environmental Benefit (Air Pollution, Climate Change, Noise, Cost of Nature and Green Land, Biodiversity, Soil and Water Pollution) = 9.470 Million €
Time Savings = 2,361.037 Million €

In total, the total economic saving of the Metro Line in the 25-year vision will be 2,734.12 Million €.
