Darica Cumhuriyet Meydani

Darıca Cumhuriyet Square Station is being built with the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM) instead of the existing Cumhuriyet Square Park between İstasyon Street and Kavala Street. The appearance of the parts remaining on the ground of the station’s concourse structure, tunnel ventilation shafts and the stair shafts is designed in accordance with the urban fabric to interfere with the park as little as possible. The depth of the station is 32 m and the Construction Area is 5,694 m².
